About

Our purpose is to create an economy that allows everyone to thrive within the ecological limits of our planet. We aim to do this in two main ways, by:

• Spreading the vision and understanding of a sustainable not-for-profit economy, and
• Providing a channel for action aimed at transitioning society from the for-profit economy to a sustainable not-for-profit economy.

We differ from most other groups with similar purposes, such as Wellbeing Economy Alliance and Doughnut Economy Action Lab, in terms of our focus on replacing for-profit institutions with not-for-profit institutions (e.g., businesses and markets). That said, we are very happy to work together with these other initiatives, in a spirit of mutual learning and collaboration, rather than competition.
